So, I'm going to be moving near the Chicago area this weekend, about 35 miles outside the city in Northwest Indiana so it'll be accessible via Southshore (don't own a car).
Was just wondering if anyone else around here is from there, how the scene is and who does events etc...I know the Siteholder folks and Kate Simko are up there, anyone else? Was also wondering if there's a Chi-local discussion forum where I could get to know people from the area.
Relocating near Chicago...scene?

I use to live in detroit, chicago doesnt have much of a minimal scene, but youll be able to find things to do, expect some cheesey music on the regular with the occasional happening... your also only a few hours from detroit...

welcome!
Thanks for the replies. This is me, I took a break from techno for a bit but I'm interested in getting back into the thick of things up here in Chitown.

I'm working on some new stuff right now but have been busy job hunting as well as reapplying for Purdue Cal (I'm technically in NWI) so music has slowed down. Nonetheless I still spin (albeit CD decks, went digital a while back) and trying to come up with material for a new Beretta/Grey (label ower is a good friend of mine).
