bought the tickets to Barcelona during the festival, already exited ;)

em, could anyone help with advices:

1)where is the location of festival?
2)where should I look for accomodation that would be convenient to get there?
3)can I buy tickets at the door?
4)what is the best way to get from airport to city centre?
5)maybe some other important tips and tricks that I should know? :)

Thanks in advance!

1) The festival is spread across the city in various venues. The Sonar By Day main site is MACBA in raval, near the rambla. Sonar by night is a little outside the city. Check sonar.es.
2) Basically anywhere near the rambla
3) I wouldn't recommend it. I bought tickets online last I was there, and picked them up in good time before the festival. The queues are awful!
4) either bus or train

For more tips search for last yeas sonar thread - a lot of useful information was given there.

Please keep in mind that there are many scams (frauds) in Barcelona with tourism flats (verify the person renting is an agency and has the REAT license given by Government of Catalonia. Its must be in web page.

The best thing to do is google it,there are loads of apartments for tourists in Barce. I have all my sh!t sorted for Sonar now thank god. The flights flew up in price at the end of Jan and they will keep going until they reach about €170.
My advice is forget about the sonar gigs and attend the peripheral gigs. They are far better and cheaper.
