Conjoined - SFTH

Post by Conjoined » Tue Sep 22, 2015 4:08 pm

Hi,

Could really use some feedback on our new track;

https://soundcloud.com/conjoined/sfth

Its more of a deep/ jazz-ier house track.

Thanks in advance!

Hi,

First thing I noticed is the kick is a little wooly. There is a freq around 160Hz that could do with being cut. Also could really do with some sub in there. You can use a sine wave tuned or use something like VOG to get the beef it needs. Also the bass is a little lack luster and has no punch or power.

The keys are nice but could do with a progression to increase the tension. Cool clap to. I would work on the arrangement it just seems like a 4 bar loop plays through out and its easy to loose interested.

Keep up the good work :)
