i think youre really good.

Shift in hAy is my style for sure. I wonder what this track would sound like with a deeper kick.

youve got your own unique style which is great, and hard to achieve with so many people doing stuff

shift in hay -

deeper kick for sure... it sounds pretty ordinary at the moment, like way too thin. i like the groove to this, maybe try reversing some of the big effected sounds used in there, for a changeup/bridge, that'd be nice. it's like this track is in a permanent transitional state - like waiting for something to happen, and the chord droped after the breat at 2:30 is not what i was looking for, and sounds a bit out of place for me. it's good, but not going anywhere, it needs more movement and to enact the transition it seems to be promising.

taken down -

nice deep bass in this one. but the kick is still too thin. and im getting some high end sharpness in this one, try cutting like 2 or so db across 3-7khz, and roll off after 15khz. it's got a dexter by villalobos vibe to it, in some respects that is. i like how the beat gets going a bit more in this one, how it opens up with the filtering on the leads. althoguh im not a huge fan of the lead opened up like that, i prefered the sound filtered down. maybe try having the initial lead deep, and then introduce a copy of it with a new synth, and have that as the high end, something organic sounding like the original.

just some thoughts.
