Size - Polder

Post by Size »

I've made a new track last week. It's a simple track, but it worked fine on the dancefloor last last friday, although I think it needs a little more. Do you have some feedback for me?!

Check the polder track at:

Thanks

amazing! =)

only thing i see is:
try build a little melody with that single sound u put at the end of every pause when the beat restarts. it's the same sound that appears once in the beginning.

just started listneing - the sound is nice and clear -

buildup is nice - like the way the groove sets in - nice and swingy - use of effects (in break) is nice too -

the percussion side of things is definitely in order - think its lacking a 'melody' of some sort....

i know its been done often - but try some toms - work a little melody (short and repetitive) - and maybe some synth stabs in chords - nice pure melodic noises... on a delay so they fade out nicely (i mean something like we did in our track OH What A.. - the high chord...) would fit in great at the end of that down pitching effect as track kicks back in (all the kick in's actually).

def nice basis Size

hope you will be inspired to add some finishing touches

catch you around

Thanks for the replies!

I agree I can make more of it with a short melody or so. But it works fine this way too, I might sort of remix the track. I will let you know when it´s finished.

so good.

reminds me of a danceyer mix of horse nation. bass line is sick, the main bubble pop riff thing is the best part.

I would buy it if it were on beatport, you know.

I wouldn't add anything to it. I would take the metal tom-hat thing down a notch though.
