Get Ableton, do all the tutorials then, you are a producer.

well this was sooo cool! interesting to hear he uses a real actual bass in a lot of his songs (the bassline question was my only question).

being new to producing, im always asking myself why dont people just use a real recorded live instrument for some parts, so now i am inspired to just do that instead of wasting so much time fiddling with synths to replicate a sound.

decent microphones cost a lot of money and to a lot of electronic musicians find it harder to get a decent sound from recording live instruments.

if you gat the choice of mic, mic position, room, quality of instrument, quality of player wrong and it can sound sh!t.

When will you release your track "Salamandarin"?
I just finished polishing a bunch of tracks up for a small release including Salamandarin so probably very soon - that plus the London Contakt show is why these questions took so long - sorry.
MINUS88 - Marc Houle - Salamandarin EP Members Package :P

He answered a certain question: "I think if you were to hang out with us every day you would see that it's all about the music and nothing more."

I wish i could do that so badly
