Controlling sequencer patterns with an envelope is a fairly alien concept for non-modular dudes. I guess it's one of those things where if you embrace it (not just env > seq specifically) it can really free things up and exponentially expand possibilities!

From memory, if you have it set to "extended" mode instead of "classic" it should link the saved kit and pattern. I pretty much always leave mine in extended mode.

That's for the MD though which has a dedicated button to switch between modes. Not sure about the MM.

A1 & B1 remind me of Maurizio / BC which I suppose is a compliment Almost too similar, but will prob pick up one or the other on digital.
