I continue to be inspired by the sheer versatility and modular nature of Live. This inspires me to try some similar techniques.
By the way Al, your link in your post includes the comma at the end, so when clicked on it doesn't go to your site. You should edit that. Cheers.

Re: 'Lately Bass' TX81z
The link a couple of posts up doesn't seem to work, but if you Google "Lately Bass with Operator" you'll find the discussion. Someone posted the parameters of the original on the 2nd page. I don't have Operator (and didn't take the time to read the entire thread) so I'm not sure how succes...

Re: How many tracks do you usually have?
I usually start with, and typically end with the following:
1. Kick
2. Snare
3. Clap
4. Hihats
5. Percussion
6. Bass
7. Lead 1
8. Lead 2/Chord
9. Chord/Pad
10. Loop of some kind
Plus or minus 1 or 2 tracks. I might not use for example, both a snare and a clap.

I would have bought this product, but I was hoping that if I ordered it within the next 20 minutes they would double the offer and give me a 2nd copy absolutely free.

Re: Copywriting your music
This may be slightly off topic, but it brought this to mind. I recently read that for a certain year Deadmau5 was the top selling artist on Beatport with 30,000 songs downloaded. Now let's say he got $1 for each track (from my understanding for most artists it would be even less after the labels cut...

I'll 2nd the MKS-70. Not sure why I ever got rid of mine. You might be able to get one with the PG-800 programmer for less than a grand.
