The bass you mean ? Sounds like an overdriven square+saw with a medium attack on the VCF.

Trilogy can do it nice and fat.

think 'flatbeat' with a bit of saw. or maybe PWM instead of saw.

Lots of techno out there, from early tresor and counterbalance right up to modern ostgut and sandwell just uses a dense, mono, low passed reverb on the kick drum instead of an actual 'bassline'. I've got a few piano libraries (Akoustic Piano, EWQL) and none sound good enough for me to use prominently in a track. I usually have to detune, EQ and compress the hell out of them, but even then, they still sound too "clean" and unnatural. I'm after that beaten-up, detuned old upright so...
