I like the beat and bass sounds but there is little change over the whole tune in percussion or the other instruments. Maybe a few subtle changes to the drum patterns and some evolving of the other instruments with effects to?

usually around 15-40 channels . I don't like any two sounds on the same track because it makes mixing easier.

make four minutes of awesome and build your intro and outro from there.

went monitor shopping and went with the yamaha hs8s. They sound damn good at a reasonable price. Very happy with my purchase. Didn't hear much difference between them and the next price bracket up in monitors.
