No, but I made two easy enough for logic environment and Novation SL Zero.
Once you got sysex figured its pretty easy.
I wouldn't say its like a JP-8 (I had use of one for a while), nothing is. The MKS-80 is certainly one of my favorite synths though.

Not really, keys will be easier to use to express musical ideas, pads can do this fine, but its more like playing drums, so its a little bit more abstract. I've used both. Both are pretty good midi controllers. I think the Oxy fits your criteria of being ok for both a little better, with the keys being a little easier to use for production.
