blitz, in the machine set all your samples to +12dB (or whatever the setting was called...). this way you'll push the hiss low enough in level

and yes upgrading the tubes makes hell of a difference

unfortunately its not the account that causes the problem.. i have three but temporarily i am using soundcloud on another pc, if i find a solution will post it

the Shockwave Flash plugin crashes (hangs). tried everything, older flash versions, reinstalled both firefox and chrome, changed the timeout to -1sec in the plugin config, updated internet explorer, other ppl on the net are complaining too, no fix so far, at least i'm glad none of you have this prob...

tried google chrome, same thing... cannot even login using Win XP btw

just tracked the problem down to firefox, when using it with Internet Explorer some of the functions are fine, but others are not... leans me to thinking it should be a flash plugin thing. if anyone knows how to fix it please share

its been a few days already and i cannot even log in... could it be some flash-related issue that i am not aware of? just need to use it urgently and its not loading basic features.
