check vst instruments (F11) there you've got freeze, on / off, and then, as i remember, another button, right click and choose, open all outs : done

nanopad looks cool too, and i wouldn't say dumb, it would be nice to see more portable controllers for live use...i'd like to use the padkontrol, but with already a uc33 & another controller in the bag, no more room ! just hope they won't be too expensive !
