I've been thinking of buying some piece of extra gear for my almost digital setup. At the moment my setup consist of: macbook pro, extra monitor, 2 KRK GPR5, m-audio midi keyboard, logic pro and some vst. So what would you recommend me to add to my setup?

I get less excited. Im sure im forgetting lots of labels, but everything is sounding the same lately, at least to me. And the worst thing is that the top guns are supporting some of this mediocre music, so we can say they are in part responsible of that.

Yeah no point in pressing this... I mean this was already heavily played during last 6 months and people got tired of it. Dont take me wrong this is an absolute killer record if u get the promo and be the first to play it, but then it just burn out really fast.

we have over come the problems of Amplification and Tuning why perpetuate such poor standards? why regress ? we dont live in caves anymore for a reason why make music? maybe in ten years we will have a program to make the beats for us? but you forget something, machines lack soul... and some slight...

That tribal thing is going out of control. One will think this was extracted from a danny tennaglia set or something... Very poor record.

That's why ricardo villalobos music fascinates me so much. He makes collide both electronic and acoustic music in his records with such beauty yet keeping it so simple. Sounding so organic but staying electronic. I love it!! Now i just need more stuff like his last release on cadenza.

Im trying to figure how to make does kind of sounds without sounding too synthetic but more organic, you know all that kind stuff that goes on villalobos, inspirescu and many other guys records.
