Re: Hardware bass synths

the pulse 2 *could* be something nice, if they manage to have a fully functional OS -which is unfortunately not always the case with waldorf. It should come out this summer. I sometimes miss the pulse I sold some years ago, even if I have a sh-101 for most of my bass sounds. oh well, the 101 is such...

Re: Juno 106 chorus input mod!

The only way around it is filtering or compression/expansion before and after the BBD which should ideally be built into the circuitry. like korg did, can't recall in which synth tho. the built a compressor before and after the chorus to keep the noise under a certain level. tonight i'll open up my...

Re: Juno 106 chorus input mod!

no, the big serie of pictures are from a synth museum we have here in switzerland. Unfortunately these are not my synths. :D

Re: Juno 106 chorus input mod!

my friend (he has the soldering skills, I don't yet) found infos on the net. The main reason of changing the jack board was the noisy chorus, which is doomed to be noisy because of relatively cheap components, specifically the chips delivering the clock to the BDD chips (Bucket Brigade Delay chips)....

Juno 106 chorus input mod!

Hi guys yesterday night a friend and I replaced the jack board and did a mod on my juno 106, "hacking" the patch shift input of the jackboard in order to use it as a input to feed sounds into the chours circuit of the juno 106. I ordered a jackboard for my juno by http://www.synthsnstuff.c...
