Tbh, there's lots of tracks on his label 1605 that i prefer to lots of his tracks. But i have also always rated his production from a purely technical standpoint.

The attacker is really nice. If you want to extract just the transient you can turn the 'ATTACK' setting fully to the right and do the opposite with the output channel. I also really wish i had full-ranger version of the free-ranger plugin. Really nice to run over a full mix to easily find out which...

Hi, i would like some pointers on recreating a snare as in this song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=onpVRjL9pxc I reckon they are pretty short and have a white-noise component and i would describe them as punchy but i still don't really know how i could recreate one. Any pointers are gladly received.
