For the sake of argument, wouldn't it be more accurate to say that a digitally produced, pure sine wave is the "authentic" one?

First heard your music with the NLMX01 release and I must say I have been enjoying your productions since then. Both the originals and the remixes on this one sound nice at first glance. The Michal Ho remix sounds right up my alley. Keep up the good work.

Against All Odds is my pick, but the rest of this release doesn't do much for me. It does sound like it would sound heavy on a big system. The vocalish melody sound in the title track is horrendous in my opinion.

I think these words are fine as descriptors - ways of analysing the music - but really there is no point in using them as genre / sub-genre titles.

Dance music derives from a 4/4 principle, you cant escape it. Perhaps rythms which stray away from that priniciple are in a way innovative, but they dont work on the dance floor. The majority of mnml users dont see minimal as a 'concept', but a form of dance music, 'Minimal Techno', 'Minimal House'...

overall, my first impression is very good. I really liked python pavillion!
