So many different uses these days for a mixer. What are your expectations from having one? Also what are your goals? Mix the outputs from your sound card? Record your analog gear in realtime and get a two track output?

Probably too late to respond on this... I've owned both but it has been a while since i've used a 62. 1. If the filter is activated it should sound filtered. That is how filters work. I know on my 92, if you activate the HPF immediately you will hear a resonance bump on the base. I think this is the...

i would play. i really like all the cool effects you have going on for a nice spacious mixture. i like the depth. As AK mentioned... The track doesn't progress.. maybe even losing or transforming the background loop into something different towards the end, the middle dropping or dipping the volume ...

sounds like some sort of FM style sound drenched in reverb.

I would recommend a DX7 for this type of thing.
but if you are in ableton i googled some tutorials for you to get started on operator.

This, and I found the most important is the pitch bend / glide on the sub (this is a single note that is pitched upwards over a quarter note). That has the tendency to make a sub feel big because it will hit a range of sub-frequencies and one of them will sound huge on what you're listening on :). ...
