Re: starting..

When you get better at getting your loops, sounds, small percussive elements, beats,... right, it will get much easier when you start throwing them together to create an entire track...

Re: Going analog

Being quicker with Ableton live is a load of rubbish really. does Logic have a clip view ? If it has, then I can understand what you mean, otherwise I can't agree with this. don't get me wrong lem, you make a very valid point that learning a piece of software will make you the fastest, whatever the...

Re: Going analog

My girlfriend has just ordered me my first piece of analog hardware for christmas - a Korg Electribe ER-1. . Does your girlfriend realise she's just opened a gateway to a long and possibly very expensive adventure, that might make you forget all about her. You'll prefer turning other knobs from now...

Re: [LIVE9] It's there!!!... wait...mmh...kind of....

yeah its bad, protools and cubase are so much better sound quality just export the same stems out of both and you will hear a difference there are to many bells and whistle and not enough substance not looking at differentplugins, but only looking at importing the same audio parts in 2 different DA...

Re: Macbook Pro 13" I7

get the HD with 7200rpm instead of the standard one. not sure which DAW you use, but if you happen to use Live, it takes a lot of data direct from the HD, so RAM and the fastest hard drive are basically the most important things to consider. Plus I see it's only 50 euro's extra, so that's still acce...

Re: Anyone have a MFB 522 Drumcomputer?

well, glad to read your opinion is well based. There's far too many people that base their opinion on gear on general first impressions in a crappy music store setup. :? yes you can control synths with the jomox. It has 4 MIDI tracks you can use to control external gear. Check out page 78 (and...
