Although the MPK-49 is real quality, I couldn't stand the spongy keys. You can't go wrong with an X-Station and they can be found pretty cheap used these days. Never tried an SL, but I heard they're good for the mapping thing with DAW's. If you can do your own mappings, then the X-Station is ideal. ...
