well i am just wondering how much of difference it makes to upgrade to higher quality monitors and wanted to get some opinions on that issue.

besides i think the hs 80 arent that clear in the mids and dont bring out the low end very well..

Hi there, i am facing the following: i have my moog voyager with the external instrument in my midi track. everything works fine, the moog plays the midinotes. the problem is when i mute the track the synth continues to be fully audible. so it looks like there are two instances playing. one in ablet...

@steevio thx for the links. interesting stuff there. as far as filters are concerned i think ill just run the drums through the filter of the voyager (which i'll buy soon) ill also try some analog tube amp, or analog distortion You should probably use the search to find some techniques on kick drums...

its a hard question really, alot depends on how you work, for me there is no contest now, its got to be a modular, but i managed alright for years with software sequencing and hardware synths for my percussion. yeah well i really like experimenting with grooves. and maybe a drummachine is really a ...

what would an example for a modular be?

how much of tweaking do you have to put into a modular for drums till you get good results compared to a drum machine like the jomox or vermona?
