Just about to take the plunge and get a new desktop PC. Long overdue and a rather large undertaking for the wallet. Any opinions or comments on this setup before I go for it? Cool thread... John Carpenter, absolutely... in fact, he usually, if not always, does his own soundtracks. Great filmmaker!! How about Stewart Copeland (from The Police). I'd ignore the vinyl option completely - at his age he's completely missed the boat on that one. Comparable to traditional photographic techniques in this day and age.
