I've always worked from home and digitally. I'm a pretty competent engineer and know the sequencer inside out, but I'm wondering if it's wise to invest in a few sessions in a decent studio.

Any experiences with this?

I don't see how XLR cables make a difference. Assuming your using TRS jacks that is.

there a few good african/brazilian/etc. rex packs full with that kind of loops, just google it or look at best service... anyway i think its much better to programm them by yourself, for having a cong/bong loop which sounds like it was made for the track (since it was...) and not like a loop runnin...
