yes in a basic sense, but i would do a lot more than just add one note. ive created entire tunes out of delays of one single sound delayed in three or four time signatures, with each one doing something different. i never think 'delayed sound' i think 'delayed midi' , which means those midi -notes ...

Has anyone else noticed that a majority of the minimal tracks out now seen to be TOO minimal? I love the simplicity of minimal music but I feel that the whole musical aspect of it is floating away. this tip really helped me, but i have a doubt: is there any way to get rid of the attack of a snare without having to render everything to audio and then modulating the volume? i use microtonic for snares, as i think it sounds fairly good and i'm used to it, but if i push the attack back, it sounds...
