thanks for the replies guys. deccard: cheers, i already thought of sidechain compression, and it sort of works, as long as i do it really subtly, else it makes it too pumping and squashes the entire mix. I might try eq automation, could be a bit more transparent and let me get more of my kick in wit...

Am i the only one sick of these 40 to 80gb libraries. The companies list this on their websites like it's a selling point but it just turns me off.

I am much more in to instruments that do a couple of things well, and are cheaper.

think ill live without this one.
