Portable Acoustic Soloutions!?

I live in a studio apartment and do not have a dedicated room for my studio setup. I also rent and have a Mrs so unfortunately I'm unable to manipulate and treat the space I have to the standard I'd like. I've been doing a bit of research in to acoustic treatment as I feel now is the time I should b...

Ok I see, well I'm beginning to come round to the idea of being patient and saving for a higher end mixer. Staying digital for the mean time. Just out of interest, a higher end mixer that would benefit would be the likes of...? Mackie Onyx range, or higher!? As for the Exciter, Maximizer or whatever...

Perform, to carry out! I know I can but in reading the whole analogue summing debate at the minute I'm just not sure what to do. Does the advantage (namely the warmth of sound) of taking my signals out of the digital domain say in to a Mackie analogue mixer outweight the fact that I'm not doing any ...

Any tips for creating a loud, warm, subby bass!?

I can't seem to get a nice clean sound of the above description. I suppose I can get the sound but every time I try to make it louder it doesn't stay clean, sort of muffles, distorts etc.! Hearing a subby bass note on say a sample CD, it sounds so much cleaner! I know that's been mastered and all th...

Torque: Thanks for the response. As I'm still learning it took a few reads but I get what you're saying. That's a handy tip to know, cheers! As for my immediate problem it seemed it was a simple error by myself. When rendering all tracks I had 'create analysis file' switched off. I thought so long a...
