i've got a dxm 06... I don't think the quality is poor for your bedroom, but I can see where it wouldn't sound to good in the club. I use it in conjunction with my 464, the effects are pretty good in my book. Most built in effects on mixers suck anyways...

Finished this last night.
uh, I changed the kick, brought up the clap, beefed up the synth, and added a little clap attack at the end.

Check it again.

I use a few max patches, logic 7, and reason (for subtractor and redrum)

I liked the lfo'ed sub you had there and the overall vibe- kind of a summer feeling, but I really didn't like the hats. Seemed like they where off time., most of the time.

I have two ttx1's. Unless you're scratching, your turntables really don't matter. You should be familar with the technics layout (it is not hard), most other turn tables follow this layout; stop/start button on the lower right corner, pitch on the upper right- given you have the tables turned battle...

I didn't really like kick, but other than that I thought it was really good for a first track.
