I read something the other day that said daftpunk was $60,000 to bring in for a show.

I use to have the m-audio audiophile..and I would always pick up a weird frequency noise on ableton. Maybe it was just my computer but I wouldn't reccomend getting that one.

Z3ta+ sounds a lil better to me...if you are trying to make "minimal" music which I'm guessing you are, it's all on yourself to tweek and strip down your sounds so that you can find what you like. I prefer knobs as well for tweeking my sounds..

I layer drums with mnml tracks but not too much..I also use graphic EQ
