I think the key when you split your elements out is to have them well separated frequency wise, which means stay away of chorus, weird delays etc... and use drastic EQs. If they are well separated they will sound stellar over a PA. Also go easy on the reverb and "backgorund" noises, there ...

I guess it will just come down to taste. People will be able to do amazing things with these loops and separate tracks, and others will do crap. I think it's a very good idea, especially for techno tunes.

Good point, two people seems to be the way to go. Now to find someone with whom you are able to stir through a techno set is a bit harder I think, you hav eto keep the flow up for a few hours.

You can't do it with midi map assign, but you can do it with most remote control surface scripts (for example for the faderfox controllers)
