It might be achievable using aftertouch if it's available. But it could also lead to unintentional bends.

I doubt mine are particularly effective from an acoustic point of view, but they the are foam corner blocks that were used as packaging for the monitors when they were in the box. Not hard styrofoam but more squishy but firm packing foam. I have empty CD jewel cases in the inside of a foam "cub...

Starting on an offbeat is the most annoying thing a producer can do. You need to give a dj something to mix from. I didn't mean to suggest that you should have to resolve chords that have inherent tension, I often don't do this as well, I was just giving an another example. Yeah, would likely sound like a two chord progression (Cm9 / EbM7) rather than the Eb chord in two different inversions. It's the D & Eb that give it tension. For a more open version of this put the D up an octave and it will sound more like a colour than a chord that should resolve.

Sure, some chords have a nicer sound to them than others (subjectively) but the impact of a chord can change dramatically when put into context. As in, it's what chords come before and after that will affect the way you perceive it. Though this is not so relevant to most techno/house type production...
