he's not suggesting that you need to write in different time signatures, quite the opposite actually. you can write in 4/4 and still have phrases that don't line up every 1,2,4,8,16 bars etc.

whether he sampled another track or not (both you and him agree that he did), it doesn't make it any more acceptable for you to do the same thing. you would both be in the wrong. if you've used a sample or loop from the tracks everyone is saying you did, just do the right thing, admit it and people ...

haven't listened to the whole release yet but there's definitely some nice tracks in here.
