Instead of getting a second machinedrum, you could just add a sampler. Controlled by midi from the machinedrum. Routed via the inputs on the machinedrum. That way you can use the RAM-machines and input-machines on the incoming sound.

Mutronics Mutator, not to be forgotten! If you want to go the route of buying synths for their filters, head straight to the Korg MS-20. Using the ESP together with the filters gives you a damn fine sound!

sauce: More or less. More with the Monomachine I'd say, compared to less with my Juno-2. More with the FR-777 compared to the TB-303.
