I used an MBase01 for a few years now. A buddy has the 11 and it's much better, more flexible. An infinity of usable, solid punchy kicks.

Definitely the 11 over the 01. Grab an 01 if you see it for real cheap.

Maybe a comparison between he Aira and the Novation drumstation is a bit fairer...

We once compared two tr909's and the kicks and toms were bassier on one of the two...
