I once did a dj set on big boat like a coaltrailer which was empty but full of people which was awesome actually !!! I was playing some deephouse with Serato but suddenly due to the whatever reason my Serato signal was lost what made the track go totally fucked up, stuttering, noise, blips and beeps...

When you are gonna take a listen to any Genelec already mentioned you should also take the 8040 in consideration. Your studio is a bit small but the lack of bass in the 8030's is very very very obvious compared to the 8040's. You will need an extra sub. They could be a little overkill for a 3x3 room...
