and a/d converter is what gets sounds from a microphone or synth or whatever with an audio output into a computer. a d/a converter doing the exact opposite.

i always use a hybrid of sampling and synthesis. both have their ups and downs for me.

yeah that is basically a quasi manual side chain compression if i am not mistaken.

i personally like it. at least the faster bpm part. i don't really like the harder stuff but i would like to see the return of sahko or sleeparchive (not that he ever left) eventhough it is not quite so dancy.
