What's wrong with trance ? I think paul van dyke, gatecrasher, Chicane and APB can asnwer that one and many like them, not that I have major beef , but you did ask :) As for what was once right with trance ? Thst's very true about a lot of the records being produced with digital technology. To several thousand people over a big PA - the sound difference is undetectable anyway. Along with what the guys are saying, You should check some of the 3Carbine stuff on our label : Avionix http://www.avionixrecords.com/ Proper dancefloor gear - I'd reccomend Antivision, singularity or Ghostline - the other is probably not what you are lookking for - it's more on a sutekh/murcof tip ...

Yup - amen to that, it's all about the music that gets people off. People who say they dislike seeing someone who just stands and presses buttons should go check Surgeon - the guy hardly flinches when he plays, extremely composed, and focused, he plays music, and does it well, people love it - well ...
