Learning the concept of chord progression would make someone never have 'writers block'. After that it becomes so much music to make, so little time.

The easiest way to make full sounding synthesizer bass sounds is by using subharmonic generators, or square waves that are made by dividing from the original signal. A roland sh101 has one for example. On a moog most people lower the square wave one octave down and mix it in with a saw wave. Here is...
