Theres a snap of a kick thats lingering in the right channel early on, whats that? did u pan the kick? This sounds good, I think the initial groove is a bit low in the mix, and then all the randomness that comes in over that is too loud, but not. The problem being that the initial groove is too low,...

bass sounds much cleaner at the low end, i think that you could do with putting a bit mor elimiting/compression on this guy tho. well either that or lift everything in the mid range, as the hats are sitting a bit loud, and i dare say that kick is sucking a lot of rms out of the track. the change up ...

Sounds good to begin with, yeah nice bass there, nice and deep, thats great. I really like the detuned lead, has a great detroit vibe to it. I think the pad/organ could maybe a bit further forward in the mix. All the progressions here are great, and it keeps the track lively. The bells type lead at ...

having the matrix pulled down to 98 steps... that sounds like you've got a loop set that is shorter than 16 steps at 1/4.

easy solution.

copy first matrix pattern to track for sub. then have matrix connected to sub and add second layer and repeat process until you've built your layers.

yeah theres a nasty sizzle at 3800- 4700 if you ask me, for me this is where reverb sound crap, and can hurt your ears.

i don't know any hard and fast rules about notching this out, but a good rule would be if it hurst you, it will hury/fatigue others as well.

it all depends how "live" you want it to be. the longer the sections your exporting and rearranging in ableton the less live control you have, the shorter sections, the more control you have,. and you can trully re-create your studio tracks in a live situation. the way i've used live playi...

The date may be a problem, as I think i have plans that weekend, but I'm going to do my best to get there. This is a killer lineup!!!

The venue looks nice, perhaps a little too nice, any idea about tickets? price, availability?

I will never sell reason short, as it is a great tool, and i used it from v1.01 through 3.04.

And was very happy with it that whole time. That being said, it doesn't sound as good as reaktor. end of story.
