they are m4a files, regular audio, better suited for larger compressed files than mp3, will play in most popular players (winamp, itunes, ipod, etc) ... mp3 in same quality would be considerably larger and consume bandwidth ... do you have problems playing them?

dunno what people are talking about, never had any problem with live, and my last couple releases were all made exclusively in live, and no one's complained .. it's all down to having the right tools (eq/comp), using them properly, having a nice monitoring system and have your room treated acoustica...
