most of his drumbeats are made on an MPC , so i guess the drums are sampled or come from library disks

thats right, for production and arrangement he just uses a macbook with logic, or from time to time garageband.
for livesets he sometimes uses korg volca bass synth

there is no big secret, its just playing around with old synths.
