In that respect it's probably ok then, I was more interested in what the kick drum thing in that Kong is like. Anyone know? The drum generators in Kong are all universally excellent as are the built in sound sculpting effects in Kong. You could spend a hell of along time in Kong designing drum kits...

Try lots of less than perfect reverbs with artefacts, pitching, track doubling with each track subtley detuned and perhaps some bit reduction. The Ice reverb in maschine is a great example of a purposefully noisy reverb effect, there are other plug-ins that do similar jobs. I did a search for these...
