Right in a nut shell I am a competant DJ and I have been interested in making a few tunes of my own for my own pleasure for a few years now. The response to my thread was better than I expected, when I get my cans on I am going to check out all those links, get me some better ideas of the UK funky sound and form my own opinion.

Basically I can't get my head around this music, which is a bit daft as I have lots of classic old skool house & garage from around '95 - 98 when it was really good and that itself was a bastardization of house and garage and dub and all other sorts of dance music but pitched up to +6 or +8 etc ...
