Both the new album and single are awesome. The album's really rich and quite emotional at points, but still with all that brittle, intricate Smoke drum programming, and lots of dramatic strings. The Matt John remix is cool also, but I think I prefer the original at the moment.

I write a 'minimal' reviews page for a fairly well known DJ magazine here in the UK, and am constantly having the piss taken out of me by mates for the whole scarves and wine thing. Whatever. I can sometimes see their point though - even to people who love techno, or house, or electronica, contempor...

Yeah, used to dig their MRI stuff too. I think they pretty much just run Resopal these days, afaik.

Luomo - Tessio. Pretty much any version, but for some reason the MRI remix in particular always gets me.

Elton John - Daniel. Used to play this on the piano as a kid, tried again recently and ended up 'getting emotional'.

You won't be able to miss me. I'll be playing before Jeremy and will doubtless spend much of the remainder of the evening throwing unusual dance shapes on the stage while frothing incessantly at the mouth.
