Hey, sorry for posting another one of these threads but y'know i need info.

Anyway I'm in NY for the next week or so and am looking for info on night time stuff to do. It's kind of hard to find reliable info on clubs and stuff.

If you want to be really cutting edge, you'd use phosycon. Maybe add some reverb too.

Antares tube is good for warmer distortion.

I use my own reaktor ensembles for extreme stuff.

Lots of blinky lights. I saw a local liveact (machina) using one a few months ago. They look cool. A cheaper alternative might be a doepfer schaltwerk sequencer, although that only has the step sequencing bit. Or if you are a super nerd, a massive MIDIBOX controller with a custom max/reaktor patch o...

Looks like i might try and make the trip this year.

If i were you i'd forget the drummachines and just buy synths, and use them to synthesise drum sounds. Especially seeing as you sequence in ableton anyway.

I'm gonna sell my machinedrum and start building a modular for my drum sounds.
