Thought this was an outstanding year for electronic/dance albums. Terrence Dixon, Oscar Mulero, Daphni, Andy Stott, Third Side, Lukid, Bee Mask, pretty sure I'm forgetting lots more... not all strictly techno but that would be boring

I can't imagine living with a girlfriend just now - sure it's sometimes nice to come home from work, get dinner and just hang out and watch TV til bedtime but I have friends who live with their SO and that's every night for them, it's hard to think of anything more depressing. I need my producing/DJ...

Misgrading is my main issue with several discogs sellers. It's not VG+ or NM if there's visible scratches all over it (even superficial) and it sounds crackly as fck. I can go and look out the seller names if anyone wishes...

The lineups for Plex at Corsica have been killing it lately if you like good techno

It was a bit of a shame that there were so many timetable clashes, queues for certain arenas, etc but with such a massive lineup I guess it's hard to avoid that. Didn't catch many peoples' entire sets.

Yeah Corsica's pretty good and most of the nights/lineups/promoters are quality. Hidden in Vauxhall does some good nights too. Also look out for smaller, pub-type venues for some interesting stuff. I haven't actually been to fabric (despite living very close to it for a few months, typical eh...) Lo...

+1 for autotune in 90% of cases. And that trance-pop-EDM synth lead sound that all the top40 records seem to have these days.
