I really dont know i got problems with something so simple
the best result i got a hat on every 16 th note with different velocity and later on a hihat on every offbeat added

im on my work so i cant search for an audio example but out the top of my head so dont nail me on it: claro intelecto- Signifier first there is a subtile hi-hat playing on the offbeat then another louder hi-hat is playing on the offbeat and then in the last part a ride is playing on the offbeat dela...

in some songs i hear different hi-hats / rides sounds
eg first a hi- hat on the offbeat and then further in the track a ride on the offbeat
but when i try this to my songs it doesnt sound really well the difference is to big
can somebody give me some tips to create some subtile changes
