Yeah I have always been that guy. I never really have used effects that much. I use the filters on my XONE from time to time but really am looking to capitalize on its Midi and aux capabilities.

I have been thinking about getting into Abelton with my DJ sets but haven't really played with around with it yet. In the studio I use Logic so I have never really needed to use it. I play mostly CDs so I would need to figure it out. I was looking for more of a piece of hardware.

Looking to pick up a sampler/efx unit to use with my XONE 92?? What's everyone using? Looking for references, pros/cons, most bang for the buck?

I would find some visual guys in town but where I live they are limited and want to charge. I make no money off my events unless they are headliner events; however I still seem to spend money. Funny how that works. Just trying to keep costs down.

Anyone know of any good visual dvds to use at events? I am NOT looking for rainbow psychedelic or animated. Thanks in advance.
