Thanks for detailed reply.
I just want to integrate the two I guesss...serioulsy considering the innerclock systems sync-lock. No more unstable midi-clock from DAW and perfect integration of MD, MPC etc ;-)

Be mindful of your budget. I went the hardware-only route, and several grand later still felt like I needed more effects and cables. Probably spent too much on sound modules, and didn't leave enough room aside for the little things. In the end I went back to software... latency ended up not as big ...

Re. MPC’s and dodgy pads…I believe they only affected a certain batch of the blue MPC 1000’s and v. early black MPC1000’s. You can tell via the serial code on the back but I don’t know how off top of head – google is your friend (or MPC-forums). Other models of MPC’s are unaffected as far as I know....

It's an amazing bit of kit and I love it! Workflow is very fast once you know it and nothing beats it for live-tweaking. You can muck things up completly, change things subtebly, mess with 8x favourite parameters on one channel, parameter lock virtually everything and with the click off a button (we...

should point out in relation to MPC1000 vs maschine is this.. When it comes to stability, midi-clock and hardware sequencing NOTHING beats an MPC IMHO. Its the master clock of my set-up and everything is tight as tight can be always - no hic-ups! I sooo struggle getting my laptop to do the same!! :(
