I bought an MPD18 and returned it. Pads were too hard. Not sensitive enough for my taste. In fact I would sometimes get double hits when tapping softly.

To me, his stuff has always been rather simple in nature.
This hasn't changed considerably. As much as i liked
his older stuff i don't think he could have gone churning out Lanicor-styled
loopage. I don't think it would have been healthy for himself/the audience.
