The thing that makes it cool is that I can put a normal sampled kick from my samples in to start with build a track etc.. and then turn on the mbase. get rid of the sampled kick and tune the mbase to the track. I find that I can get it so right with the mbase that I'm not needing to add any EQ or C...

Dunno about those guys, but yes you can make subbass sounds with the mbase. But its more of a side effect, not the main purpose of the machine. Imo go for a synth if you want sub.
